2024: NSIC Champion … played in 49 games, including 33 starts in the outfield … batted .275 with 12 RBI and 33 runs scored … carried a .383 on-base percentage and stole 19 bases … recorded 58 putouts while playing errorless baseball … recorded seven multi-hit games, including a three-hit day against Winona State on April 13.

2023: NSIC Champion … helped AU advance to the Division II College World Series … NSIC Player of the Week (Feb. 27) … started 68 games in the outfield … batted .294 with a .389 on-base percentage and a .438 slugging percentage … stole 37 bases … hit seven home runs and scored 56 runs … went 4-5 with two RBI,  three runs scored, and three stolen bases to help lift the Vikings to the DII College World Series over Minnesota State on May 27 … hit a grand slam against Emporia State on February 18 … went 9-17 with two home runs, 10 RBI, and five runs scored against Colorado Christian February 25-26 … went 3-3 with two triples and two runs scored against Wayne State April 26 … went 3-4 with two home runs, a double, five RBI and four runs scored against Winona State on May 2.

2022: Played in 24 games and started 15 games for the Vikings…Totaled six runs, 14 hits, two doubles, one home run and eight RBI…Stole five bases on eight attempts.

High School: Winterstein is a 2021 graduate of Elkhorn South High School. As a senior, he hit .398 with 37 hits, one homer, and 20 steals.
