Ben Klinger joined the Augustana football staff in the fall of 2017 as the tight ends coach after spending the previous season as the wide receivers coach at St. Cloud State.

In his lone season with the Huskies, Klinger coached Jameson Parsons, who went on to earn numerous All-American honors in his senior season.

In 2015, Klinger coached the wide receivers as a graduate assistant coach at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan., where he coached all-conference wideout Landers Riddle.

Prior to Southwestern College, Klinger worked as a student offensive quality control assistant at the University of Minnesota under head coach Jerry Kill, working with both the wide receiver and quarterback coaches, while also doing opponent film breakdowns and offensive scouting reports for the Gopher staff.

Klinger graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in sport science and is currently pursuing his MBA while working at Augustana.
