Jacob Marlay joins the Augustana Football program this fall as a defensive graduate assistant, focusing on the defensive line unit.
Marlay comes to Augustana from William Jewell College, where he graduated with a B.A. in Biology in the spring of 2018.
While at William Jewell, Marlay was an undergraduate assistant coach for the Cardinals football team, serving as assistant video coordinator and assistant defensive line coach under head coach Shawn Weigel.
A native of Trenton, Missouri, (pop. 6,100), Marlay will also be a full-time student at Augustana, working toward a masters degree in Sports Administration and Management.
