Logan Ogden

Logan Ogden became Augustana’s assistant strength and conditioning coordinator in 2013.

Ogden works directly with the Augustana softball, volleyball, soccer and track and field programs. He also assists Brett Chambers with the strength and conditioning program for Viking football.

Ogden comes to Augustana after serving as a graduate assistant at South Dakota State University, where he was the head track and field, cross country, equestrian and cheer team strength coach. He was also responsible for assisting in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for the remainder of SDSU’s 21 athletic teams, working primarily with football, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball and softball.

Ogden, a native of What Cheer, Iowa, was a two-sport student-athlete at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. He qualified for the NAIA National Track Meet seven times during his career and earned NAIA All-America honors in 2011. As a member of Northwestern’s football team, Ogden was a two-time All-Conference honoree and was named his team’s MVP in 2008.

Ogden graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Northwestern College in 2011. He completed his master’s degree in nutrition, exercise and food sciences at SDSU in 2013.

Ogden resides in Sioux Falls with his wife Caitlyn.
