Malik Bradshaw joined the Augustana coaching staff as a graduate assistant in 2020, and was then promoted to co-video coordinator and full time assistant coach, leading the running backs and kick/punt returners coach on the staff.
Bradshaw again elevated the run game for the 2023 NSIC Champion Vikings as Jarod Epperson became the third player in program history to run for over 3,000 career yards and earned First Team All-NSICÂ honors after running for over 1,000 yards. As a whole, the AU ground game ran for nearly 2,000 yards to help balance the offense.Â
Â
In 2022, Bradshaw trained David Addo into an NSIC top 15 running back, which was a feat Addo had never accomplished in his 4 year career. In his first year coaching returners, the vikings gained 227 punt return yards while averaging 13.85 yards per return with the longest return being 40 yds. Also, Bradshaw’s returners gained 506 kickoff return yards while averaging 20.46 yards per return with the longest return being 45 yds.

After the canceled 2020 season, Bradshaw's running backs had an exceptional 2021 season enroute to winning the NSIC Conference Championship which hadn’t been accomplished in 62 years. The running backs contributed to the viking offense that ranked eighth in the nation with 467.1 yards per game. In addition, the running backs produced an outstanding result of 2,492 all purpose yards which was an increase of 701 yards over the 2019 season total.

While at Oklahoma, Bradshaw was a student coaching assistant, working under Roy Manning and Kerry Cooks specializing in defense, safeties, and cornerbacks. He scouted opponent film, identified key players and their tendencies, created sideline play boards for defensive players and coaching staff, and developed detailed scouting reports for players in this role.
Â
Prior to moving into the student assistant role, Bradshaw was a walk-on for the Sooners, playing wide receiver. The Sooners won four consecutive Big 12 Conference titles and competed in the Sugar, Rose, Orange and Peach Bowls during his tenure.
