Mikahael Waters

Mikhael Waters enters his first season as Augustana’s wide receivers coach.

Waters, a 2016 graduate from the University of Nevada joins Augustana after spending time with the University of Hawaii as a graduate assistant. Prior to his stint with the University of Hawaii, Waters served as a student assistant at the University of Nevada during the 2014-2015 seasons.

At the University of Hawaii, Waters was responsible for coaching the wide receivers. Along with coaching the receivers, Waters coached the tight ends during the 2017 season and that unit helped break Hawaii single season rushing record.

During his time as a student assistant at the University of Nevada, Waters assisted the Wolf Pack quarterbacks and helped prepare practice plans. In addition, he was a game-day signal caller and assisted in all areas of recruiting.  Waters was apart of the staff that went to back to back bowl games and ultimately won the 2015 Arizona Bowl.

While at Hawaii, Waters earned a Master’s Degree in Educational Foundations in 2018.

Waters now resides in Sioux Falls.
