2022: Concluded career as one of Augustana’s best ever to punt … played in all 11 games making 67 punts … averaged 40.4 yards per punt … had a long of 58 yards … racked up 2707 yards punting … placed four punts inside the 20 against Bemidji State (Sept. 10).

2021: NSIC Champion … NSIC South Division Champion … punted in all 12 games for the Vikings ... made 61 punts on the season for 1,693 yards for an average of 40.3 yards per punt … season-long of 61 yards … had six punts inside the 20 and 10 punts of over 50 yards.

2020: No season due to COVID-19.

2019 (Sophomore): Played in all 12 games as the Vikings’ punter … punted 63 times for an average of 39.9 yards per punt … pinned the opponent inside the 20 on 19 occasions … totaled 13 punts of 50-plus yards … recorded a season-long punt of 61 yards against Concordia-St. Paul … averaged 46.7 yards per punt against CSU Pueblo, the fifth-highest average in Augustana single-game history.

2018 (Freshman): Punted for the Vikings... Totaled 21 punts from 714 yards or an average of 34.0 yards per punt... Had a season-high six punts (293 yards) vs. U-Mary on Oct. 20... had a season-long 71 yard punt vs. U-Mary... Pinned six punts inside the 20 ... Had 18 kickoffs for 955 yards or 53.1 yards per kickoff... one touchback on the year .... Also played in 8 games and tallied two tackles.

Before Augustana: Transferred to Augustana from Dakota Wesleyan, where he redshirted for the Tigers basketball team.

High School: Prepped at Brandon Valley High School for head coach Chad Garrow ... converted on 54 of 59 extra point attempts, went 5 for 9 on field goal tries and recorded 43 touchbacks on kickoffs ... Argus Leader Elite 45 honorable mention ... earned both ESD and Sioux Metro all-conference honors, as well as an all-state selection.

Personal: Son of Kirk and Stephanie Jurgens ... born on Jan. 20, 1999 ... plan on majoring in nursing.
