2019 (Senior): Named a team captain ... Honorable Mention All-NSIC … Played in all 12 games at linebacker … ranked second on team with 72 tackles … totaled 47 solo tackles … forced a fumble against Minnesota State (Sept. 14) … credited with three pass breakups … recorded 11 tackles at Minnesota State (Sept. 14) … totaled eight tackles in victory over Sioux Falls (Sept. 26).


2018 (Junior): NSIC South Division All-Conference Honorable Mention… Played in all 11 games for the Vikings.. Finished second on the Vikings with 79 total tackles, including 43 solo takedowns... 79 tackles is a career-high for the Wisconson native… Had a monster 17 tackle game against Minnesota State, which proved to be a season-high for the team... Added three sacks and two forced fumbles.. Had a two-sack game at Minnesota-Crookston... In addition to the rush defense, Theis added three pass breakups and one qb hurry.

2017 (Sophomore): Saw action in all 11 games off the bench ... finished the season with 13 total tackles, seven solo and six assists ... set a career-high with five tackles in the opener against MSU Moorhead with five stops ... posted single tackles in six games, and then finished the season with two tackles at Winona State on Nov. 9.

2016 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 10 games at linebacker and on special teams ... recorded 12 tackles, including six solo stops ... recorded three tackles against Minnesota Crookston on Sept. 17 ... posted three tackles at SMSU on Nov. 12.

2015 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt.

High School: Prepped at Germantown High School for coach Jake Davis ... three-year letterwinner and starter ... named North Shore Conference Linebacker of the Year senior season ... earned first team all-conference and all-region honors in 2014 ... recorded 118 total tackles as a senior, including 16.5 tackles for loss ... forced four fumbles in 2014 ... named team’s Defensive MVP ... member of conference championship team as a senior ... earned second team all-conference honors as a junior ... recorded 108 tackles (22.5 for loss) and four forced fumbles junior season ... rushed for 395 yards and four touchdowns as a running back sophomore season.
