High School: Tharpe was a three-year letterwinner and senior captain for the Fort Lauderdale Flying L’s. He took 39 receptions for 830 yards and five touchdowns while being named 2025 Miami Herald News honorable mention and a BCAA All-Star.

Personal: Latevien is the son of Brittany Blige, Joyce Johnson and Kenneth Tharpe. He plans to major in theology while at Augustana.
