2023: NSIC Champion … Academic All-NSIC … recorded 11 tackles in 12 games, six solo and five assisted … tallied a season-high five tackles against Colorado School of Mines in the NCAA Tournament.

2022: NSIC All-Academic Honoree ... Appeared in 11 games for the Vikings… made a total of 20 tackles on the season … accounted for two pass breakups on the year.

2021: NSIC Champion … NSIC South Division Champion … saw action in 10 games … made four tackles … forced a fumble that was returned for a touchdown against Winona State (Oct. 30).

High School: Boetel will graduate from Harrisburg High School in May of 2021. As a senior, he tallied three interceptions and earned all-conference and honorable mention all-state honors. As a junior, he intercepted four footballs.

Personal: Boetel was born in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to parents Marie and Mike. He has two siblings and enjoys fishing and hanging out with friends.
