2021: Started all 12 games … earned First Team All-NSIC accolades … ranked 10^th in the nation with 13 receiving touchdowns … totaled 881 yards receiving … had a long of 68 yards in win over Upper Iowa (Oct. 9) … had a three touchdown reception game against Upper Iowa (Oct. 9) as part of his 153 yards receiving … totaled three games of 100 or more yards receiving.

2020: No season due to COVID-19.

2019 (Junior): First Team All-NSIC selection … totaled 39 receptions for a team-high 546 receiving yards … averaged 14.0 yards per reception … recorded two touchdowns … totaled 104 yards receiving against Minnesota State (Sept. 14) … recorded a season-long 44-yard reception against Southwest Minnesota State (Nov. 16).

2018 (Sophomore): Played in 10 of 11 games for the Viking...finished the year 4th on the team with 31 receptions for 398 yards and two touchdowns.. Averaging 39.8 receiving yards per game… Collected a Viking career-high of 8 catches ofr 95 yards vs. Minnesota State... scored his only two touchdown in one game, at Minnesota Crookston on Sept. 29th... Finished 7th on the team in all purpose yards.

Before Augustana: Played football at North Dakota State in 2016 and sat out as a redshirt ... named to the MVFC Honor Roll. 

High School: 2016 graduate of Chaska High School in Chaska, Minn. ... three-year letterman for teams that compiled a 25-7 record under coach Bryan Dahl … Chaska won back-to-back conference titles in 2013 and 2014 and reached the Class 5A state semifinals with an 11-1 record in 2013 … two-year starter playing wide receiver and cornerback…Set the school's career record with 16 touchdown receptions … had 28 catches for 569 yards and eight TDs his senior year … also made two interceptions and had a 70-yard blocked field goal return for a touchdown … part of the USA Football Under-18 team in the 2015 International Bowl … All-conference in 2014 as the Metro West Conference leader in TD receptions … 2015 Chaska Offensive MVP … named all-district and academic all-conference…Also played for the conference champion basketball team his junior year.

Personal: Son of Joel and Karen Engel ... born in Chaska, Minn. on Sept. 12, 1997 ... plans to major in Business Administration.
