2021: NSIC Champion … NSIC South Division Champion … appeared in all 12 games for the Vikings … made 21 total tackles on the season … broke up three passes on the season, two coming in a win against Upper Iowa (Oct. 9) ... intercepted a pass in the season opener win against Minot State (Sep. 4).
2020: No season due to COVID-19.
2019 (Sophomore): Played in all 12 games … recorded 37 tackles including 24 solo … tallied an interception against Southwest Minnesota State … credited with five pass breakups … helped Augustana rank fourth in the nation in scoring defense … helped the Vikings rank 10
th in the nation with a total of 19 team interceptions.
2018 (Freshman): Appeared in all 11 games making six starts for Augustana… tallied 24 total tackles, with 16 of those executed by himself… Capers had season high of five total tackles on November 10th at Southwest Minnesota State... Broke up three pass attempts, with two coming at the hands of Wayne State on September 15th... Finished the year with 1 TFL for -4 yards... Deflected three pass attempts in 2018.
2017 (Redshirt): Sat out the season as a redshirt.
High School: Prepped at Dr. Phillips High School for coach Rodney Wells ... two-year letterwinner ... started at cornerback as a senior ... member of back-to-back conference championship teams as a junior and senior ... recorded 38 tackles in 2016 ... broke up seven passes and recorded two tackles for loss senior season.
