Jason Rinne, a 2008 graduate of Augustana, enters his 10th year as an assistant athletic trainer in 2020-2021.
Rinne works with the men’s basketball team as well as assisting with cross country/track and field.
While pursuing his bachelor’s degree in athletic training, Rinne spent four years as a student athletic trainer. After graduating from Augustana, Rinne spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at the Nebraska-Omaha where he worked with football, hockey and tennis.
Upon completing his graduate assistantship, Rinne worked for Centerpoint Medical Center in Independence, Missouri, from July 2010 to August of 2012. There, Rinne was an assistant athletic trainer for the Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League.
Rinne and his wife, Stephanie, have two children, Cooper and Bria.
