Robbie Whitney joined the Augustana coaching staff prior to the 2023-24 season. Prior to joining Tom Billeter’s staff, Whitney served as the varsity head coach at New Life Academy in Woodbury, Minnesota.

Spending two years as the head coach, Whitney led the Eagles to back-to-back Minnesota State Tournament appearances. In 2022, NLA placed third. The following year, New Life Academy placed as Class A State Runner-Up. Over his two years, he coached to a 54-10 record including a school-record 28-4 season.

In addition to his head coaching experience, he has served as an AAU Coach for the Northstar Titans and Minnesota Crossfire, served as a middle school coach at Legacy Christian Academy and a junior varsity coach at St. Francis High School.
