Ryan Kirsch enters his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the Augustana University men’s basketball team in 2016-17.
Kirsch is a 2016 graduate of Iowa State University where he was a student manager with the Cyclones men’s basketball program.
As a student manager at Iowa State, Kirsch assisted the coaching staff with creating of scouting reports and opponent personnel video editing. He was also responsible for editing practice and game film for personal and opponent scouting purposes.
Kirsch was also involved in assisting the coaching staff with individual and team-based workouts. He was also instrumental in helping the Iowa State men’s basketball program run the Fred Hoiberg basketball camps.
He graduated from Iowa State in May with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering.
Kirsch was also a member of the Iowa State University Sports Analytics Club and was a manager for the Cyclones’ softball team.
Kirsch is pursuing his master’s degree in sports administration and leadership at Augustana.
