Former Augustana athlete Caitlin Ostbye was hired as an assistant coach in August 2025.
Ostbye was a member of the Augustana women’s track and field program in 2024-2025. The Academic All-NSIC member competed for a season after transferring in from Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, where she earned All-Conference and All-America honors.
She has spent most of her collegiate time in the weight room, working as a strength and conditioning intern at North Carolina in the summer of 2023, and as a student assistant at Northwestern College for over two years. She has also worked as a student assistant at Augustana since arriving in August 2024.
Ostbye earned a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Northwestern College and is currently pursuing a Master's in Sports Administration and Leadership from Augustana.
