Biography
2023-24: Played 20 rounds and nine events on the season … averaged 80.5 shots per round … had a season-best finish of 17th at the USF Invitational … played to six-over-par at the tournament.
2022-23: Played in all 11 events with 23 rounds of action … averaged 79.3 shots per round … placed a season-best 11th at the Augustana Spring Invitational … recorded a season-low two round score of 149 at the Bemidji State Invite and Maverick Desert Classic … had a season-low round of 73 in a dual with UMary.
2021-22 : Competed in five events and 11 rounds of golf on the season…Averaged 79.18 strokes per round…Had a season low of 74 strokes.
2020-21: Competed in three events and seven rounds of golf in 2021… Had a scoring average of 86.43 and a season low of 80.
High School: Johnson graduated from Eastview High School in June of 2020. As a junior, he had a regular-season scoring average of 77.8, had three top-10 finishes on the Minnesota Junior PGA Players Tour, qualified for the Minnesota Junior PGA Championship and was an all-conference honorable mention. He was also an all-conference honorable mention as a sophomore and was all-conference as a freshman.
Personal: Johnson was born on Nov. 7, 2001 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to parents Matt and Marg Johnson. He has two siblings, Madeline and Carly, and enjoys watching sports, playing golf, listening to music and hanging out with his friends. While at Augustana, he plans to major in business.
