2023-2024: GLIAC All-Academic Team. At the Coyote Extravaganza, Monson finished 9th place in the 500 Free, with a time of 5:03.90. At the GLIAC Championships, Monson earned season bests in the 100 Free (48.35), the 200 Free (1:46.09), the 1000 Free (10:05.68), the 100 Fly (53.32) and the 200 Fly (1:56.68).
2022-23: GLIAC All-Academic Team. At the GLIAC Championship, Monson swam personal bests in the 50 Fly (24.49) and the 100 Fly (52.47). He also garnered season bests in the 100 Free (48.42), the 200 Free (1:46.50) and the 1000 Free (10:13.42)
2021-22: At the AU vs. Midland University Meet, Monson won the 1650 Free in a time of 17:18.94. At the Augustana Invitational, Monson took 6th place in the 500 Free with a personal best time of 4:43.22. At the GLIAC Championships, he earned a personal best in the 1000 Free (9:54.81)
High School: Graduated from The Woodlands College Park High School in May of 2021 ... In his senior year, Monsoon was a two-time silver medalist at the 2021 UIL District 13-6A Championships ... He was also a one-time silver medalist and one-time bronze medalist at the 2021 UIL Region IV-6A Championships ... Monsoon was also a leg on the Woodlands College Park High School 200 medley relay team that broke the school record. His team also placed fourth at the 2021 UIL Region 4-6A Championships along with a runner-up finish at the 2021 UIL District 13-6A Championships.Â
