2022-23: GLIAC All-Academic Team of Excellence. At the GLIAC Championships, Pietsch finished 14th in the 200 Back and 15th in the 500 Free. He earned personal best times in the meet in the 200 Free (1:43.28), the 500 Free (4:41.44), the 100 Back (51.87) and the 200 Back (1:51.75).
