2023-2024: GLIAC All-Academic Team. In the Augustana vs UNM vs SMSU meet, Asmus won the 200 Freestyle in a time of 1:47.05. During the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, Asmus swam a season best 9:56.89 in the 1000, placing 23rd. Asmus also earned three personal bests in time trials, the 50 Free (21.62), the 100 Fly (51.88), and 100 Breastroke (59.37)
2022-23: GLIAC All-Academic Team. Swam a personal best of 4:07.85 in the 400 IM at the Augustana Invitational. Swam a personal best of 1:46.54 in the 200 free at the Coyote Invitational
2021-22: At the GLIAC championship, Asmus placed 13th in the 500 Free (4:42.55), after going a career best in the prelims (4:41.27)
High School: Graduated from Hudson Senior High School in May of 2021 ... Asmus holds personal bests of 24.44 in the 50-butterfly and 52.60 in the 100-butterfly ... Both of those times came at the WIAA Division 1 Meet ... His 100-butterfly time placed him 16th at the meet ... Asmus is a four-time WIAA Big Rivers Conference Academic All-Star
