Jared Hofer

Jared Hofer enters his fourth season as a volunteer assistant coach with the men’s and women’s tennis programs at Augustana in 2019-20.

During the historic 2018-19 season, Hofer helped the women's team achieve their 100th straight conference victory. The women's team also won their 10th straight NSIC regular season title and their ninth consecutive NSIC tournament title on their way to a 19-3 record and a birth in the NCAA Central Region against Northwest Missouri State. On the men's side he helped the team to a record of 9-10.

In 2017-18, Hofer helped the women's team to their ninth straight NSIC regular season title and their eighth consecutive NSIC tournament title. The women finished the season with a 21-4 record and a spot in the NCAA Central Regional against Oklahoma Baptist. On the men's side he helped the team to a record of 7-9.

In 2016-17, Hofer helped the women's team to their eighth straight NSIC regular season title and their seventh consecutive NSIC tournament title. Hofer helped the women's team to a 16-6 record and ended the season at the Central Regional against SE Oklahoma State. Hofer assisted in Kornelia Staniszewska earning her second straight NSIC Player of the Year Award and Taylor Jackson earning the NSIC Freshman of the Year. Staniszewska, Jackson and Berkley Darr each earned first team All-NSIC honors in both singles and doubles. Meredith Lawrence earned first team All-NSIC in doubles and second team in singles and Christine Olivo earned honorable mention in singles. Staniszewska also earned Oracle/ITA Division II All-American honors in singles for the second straight year.

On the men's side, Hofer helped the team to a record of 6-8 on the season. The highlight of the season came on Feb. 8 when the team knocked off South Dakota State, 5-4.

Hofer graduated from Augustana in 2016 with a degree in business. Hofer is a Sioux Falls native who attended Lincoln High School.

At Augustana, Hofer posted a 34-23 record in singles play and in doubles finished with a record of 37-22.
