Indoor: Took fourth and set a personal best time of 2:35.73 in the 1,000-meters at the SDSU Last Chance (Feb. 17) … raced to a sixth place finish and recorded a personal best time of 4:33.71 at the MSU Open (Jan. 28).
Outdoor: Recorded a personal record in the 1,500-meters with a time of 4:06.92 at the Howard Wood Relays (May 6) ... finished in 11th in the 1,500-meters at the NSIC Championships (May 13).

2015-16 (Freshman)
Indoor: All-Conference honors in the DMR ... placed third in the DMR with a time of 10:25.35 at the NSIC Championship ... placed sixth in the 1000-meter run with a time of 2:37.83 at the Ted Nelson Classic ... finished eighth in the 4x400-meter relay team with a time of 3:45.63 at the Dakota Realty Alumni Meet
Outdoor: Finished fifth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:02.32 at the USF Invitational ... placed fifth in he 4x800-meter relay team with a time of 8:05.67 at the Red Raider Open 
 
High School: A 2015 graduate of Fort Calhoun High School … four-year letterwinner and three-year captain for the Pioneers … finished third at state cross country his senior season … ran the 3,200-meter run with a personal-best time of 10:01 and the 1,600-meter run with a time of 4:35 his junior season, placing third and seventh, respectively at state … four-time state cross country qualifier ... placed fifth and lead team to runner-up finish in cross country during sophomore campaign.

Personal: Son of Eugene and Jamie Tietz … born April 5, 1997 … chemistry major.
