Indoor: Placed 1st in the 60m hurdles at the SDSU Holiday Open and Multi with a time of 7.99… Placed 1st in the 60m hurdles at the Jim Emmerich Alumni Meet with a time of 7.94… Ran a personal best in the 200m dash at the Jim Emmerich Alumni Meet with a time of 22.75… Placed 1st in the 60m hurdles at the SDSU Last Chance with a time of 7.98m… Ran a personal best and placed 2nd in the 60m hurdles at the NSIC Indoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 7.88.
Outdoor: Placed 1st in the 110H with a time of 13.98, placed 3rd in the 400H with a time of 55.59 at the USD Early Bird… Placed 1st in the 110H with a time of 13.84 at the USD Challenge… Runner up in the 110H with a time of 13.56 at the 114th Drake Relays… Ran a personal best and finished 1st in the 110H with a time of 13.74, finished 5th in the 400H with a time of 54.01 at the 2024 NSIC Outdoor Track and Field Championships… Placed 4th at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a time of 13.83.

2021-22:
Indoor: Placed fourth in the 60m hurdles at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 25-26, running a personal best time of 8.07 …  was a part of the 4x400m relay that placed seventh at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Feb. 25-26, running 3:27.67 … Ran a personal best time of 23.21 in the 200m at the Ted Nelson Classic on Feb. 5 … Ran a personal best time of 36.19 in the 300m at the SDSU Holiday Open & Multi on Dec. 3-4.
Outdoor: Placed fourth in the 400m hurdles at the NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships … Placed fifth in the 110m hurdles at the NSIC Outdoor Championships … Ran the second leg of the 4x100m relay team that placed fourth at the NSIC Outdoor Championships … Ran the anchor leg of the 4x400m relay team that ran 3:20.77 at the Deb Schulz Open on May 6 … Ran a personal-best time of 14.63 in the 110m hurdles at the Deb Schulz Open … Ran a personal-best time of 54.69 in the 400m hurdles at the Bryan Clay Invitational.

High School: Graduated from Lincoln High School in May of 2021 ... During his sophomore year, Martens won the South Dakota AA 110 hurdles and placed second in the 300m hurdles which helped Lincoln High School win the outdoor state championship. He holds a personal best of 14.8 in the 110m hurdles and 40.01 in the 300m hurdles.

Personal: Son to Matt and Penny Martens ... Born on 09/30/2002 in Sioux Falls, S.D. ... Martens plans to major in marketing while at Augustana.
