Indoor: Earned a fourth-place finish in the 600 meter at the SDSU DII Invitational on Jan. 24 with a personal best time of 1:23.22… Named to the Winter NSIC All-Academic Team.
Outdoor: Named to Spring NSIC All-Academic Team…

2018-19 (Junior):
Indoor: Academic All NSIC… Ran a season best 400m (50.84) at the SDSU Indoor Classic on Feb. 9… Ran a season best 200m (23.70) at the Mark Schuck Open on Jan 26… Earned a third place finish (3:20.89) on the 4x400 meter relay team at the NSIC Indoor Championship on Feb. 23.Â
Outdoor: Academic All NSIC… Earned a fifth place finish with his season best 400m time of 50.25 at the Mount Marty Invite on Apr. 24… Placed 16th in the 400m (1:16.17) at the NSIC Outdoor Championship on May 11.
2017-18 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Set a personal best at the DII Invitational in the 200m with at time of 23.90… Had a 3rd place finish in the 400 with a time of 51.42 at the SDSU Last Chance… At the NSIC Indoor Championships had a time of 1:27.01 in the 600
Outdoor: At the NSIC Championships had a 2nd place finish in the 4x400 with a time of 3:19.52… in the 400 at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays had a time of 51.98… At the Mount Marty Twilight had a 7th place finish in the 400 with a time of 51.86
2016-17 (Freshman)
Indoor: Set a personal record in the 600-meters with a time of 1:24.48 at the SDSU Classic (Feb. 11) … recorded a personal best in the 400-meters with a time of 52.75 at the SDSU Classic (Feb. 11) … finished with a personal high in the 200-meters at the MSU Open (Jan. 28) with a time of 24.19.
Outdoor: Set personal bests in the 200-meters (23.69) and the 400-meters at the Howard Wood Relays (May 6) ... helped the 4x400 relay team finish in third at the NSIC Championships (May 13) with a season's best time of 3:18.25.
High School: A 2016 graduate of Yankton High School … four-year letterwinner … helped his 4x400 relay team take seventh at state during his sophomore season … helped his team finish as conference champions as a junior … was a part of a team that finished as conference runner up his sophomore season.

Personal: Son of Jason and Heidi Savey … born in Yankton, S.D. on Nov. 25, 1997 … will major in Exercise Science and Secondary Education, with aspirations of becoming a Physical Therapist.
