Indoor: Took home All-NSIC honors in the 800 meter at the NSIC Championships with a second-place finish and time of 1:54.39… Earned a first-place finish in the 600 meter at the Mark Schuck Open on Feb. 1 with a time of 1:22.50.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to COVID-19
2018-19 (Freshman):
Indoor: Sat out as a redshirt.
Outdoor: Sat out as a redshirt.
High School: Graduate of Washington High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota… Has a personal best in the 5K with a time of 15:49… Placed 3rd at the state cross country meet in 2018… Was voted most valuable, most improved and best teammate by his teammates.
Personal: Mvuyekure was born on Jan. 1, 2000 in Congo, Africa. He has five siblings, Yvonne, Jeanne, Chance, Innocent and Belle, and enjoys basketball, swimming and ice skating. He plans to major in Pre-Med and minor in Psychology while at Augustana.
