Outdoor: Ran a personal best in the 200m with a time of 23.14 at DSU Twilight, finishing 9th… Placed 7th in the 100m at the DSU Twilight.
2022-2023:
Indoor: Ran a personal best in the 60m at the Mark Schuck Open with a time of 7.30
Outdoor: Ran a personal best in the 100m at the Mount Marty Twilight with a time of 11.18
2021-22:
Indoor: Had a personal-best jump in the long jump at the SDSU Last Chance Meet on Feb. 19, jumping 19-7 … Ran personal-bests in the 60m and 200m at the SDSU Holiday Open & Multi on Dec. 3-4, running 7.42 and 23.21.
Outdoor: Ran a personal-best time of 11.75 in the 100m dash at the Minnesota State Open … Had a personal-best jump of 20-5.75 in the long jump at the Dordt Invite on Apr. 2.
Highschool: Graduated from St. Charles High School in May 2021 ... In his sophomore season, Berends ran personal bests 11.89 in the 100m, and 24.18 in the 200m. He helped Saint Charles win the True Team State Meet during his sophomore season.
