Indoor: Academic All NSIC … Placed fourth in the mile at the NSIC Championships on Feb. 26 running 4:15.12 … placed sixth in the 3,000m at the conference meet running 8:30.08 … Ran a personal-best in the mile at the SDSU Last Chance meet on Feb. 20 running 4:10.93 … Ran a personal-best in the 3,000m at the SDSU Indoor Classic on Feb. 13 running 8:24.04.
Outdoor: NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence … Placed seventh in the 1,500m at the NSIC Outdoor Championships … Ran a personal best 3:50.45 in the 1,500m at the GVSU Extra Weekend Meet Apr. 30 … Ran a personal best 14:29.77 in the 5,000m at the Kip Janvrin Open Apr. 23.

2019-20 (Freshman):
Indoor: Competed unattached at the SDSU Last Chance on Feb. 21. 
Outdoor: Season canceled due to COVID-19

High School: Brand graduated from Winona Senior High School in June of 2019. He was All-Conference all four years of high school and Academic All-State during his junior and senior seasons. 

Personal: Brand was born on May 29, 2001 in Winona, Minnesota, to parents Julie and Darrin Brand. He has two siblings, Preston and Sheldon, and enjoys video games, biking and swimming. He plans to major in exercise and sports science at Augustana and wants to become a physical therapist.
