Indoor: Earned a sixth-place finish with a personal best mile time of 4:22.24 at the NSIC Indoor Challenge on Feb. 15… Finished in fifth-place in the 1,000 meter at the Maverick Invitational on Feb. 21 with a time of 2:41.95… Named to the Winter NSIC All-Academic Team.

Indoor: Academic All NSIC… Placed fifth in the Distance Medley Relay (10:24.11) at the NSIC Indoor Championship on Feb. 23… Earned a second place finish in the 1,000m with his season best time of 2:33.58 at the SDSU Last Chance on Feb. 15… Ran a season best mile (4:22.43) at the SDSU Indoor Classic on Feb. 9.
Outdoor: Academic All NSIC… Ran a season best 5,000m (15:22.15) at the NSIC Outdoor Championship on May 11… Ran a season best 1,500m (3:59.39) at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays on May 4… Earned a third place finish at the Red Raider Open in the 1,500m with a time of 4:04.87.
2017-18 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Set a personal best at the Ted Nelson Classic in the 3000m with a mark of 9:11.16
Outdoor: At the NSIC Championships finished the 5000 in a time of 15:43.23 which was a personal best on the season… Also had a personal best in the 1500 at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays with a time of 4:00.82

Previous: A 2015 graduate of Lambertseter Videregående Skole ... owns personal-bests of 1:58 in the 800-meter run, 4:01 in the 1,500-meter run and 8:54 in the 3,000-meter run.
High School: Wigaard graduated from Lambertseter VGS in Oslo, Norway, in 2015.
Personal: Wigaard was born on Jan. 25, 1996 in Trondheim, Norway, to parents Espen and Anette. He has one sibling, Are, and enjoys watching sports on TV and playing chess. He plans to major in math and physics and minor in computer science while at Augustana. He has aspirations of being a mathematics professor after graduating from Augustana.
