2021: Helped Augustana earn the NSIC Championship, NCAA Central Region Championship and a No. 1 national ranking for more than half the season … NSIC Gold Glove Award Winner … started all 57 games at first base with 401 putouts, 11 assists and just one error … tallied a .282 batting average with nine home runs, 12 doubles and a triple … pushed in 33 runs … scored 27 runs of her own … hit the go-ahead home run in the Vikings 2-1 win over Minnesota State in the Central Regional on May 21 … totaled 12 multi-hit games.

2020: Earned a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence … Played in started all 19 games at first base for Augustana … Tied for second with 15 RBI … hit .322 in 59 at-bats, including two double and three home runs …19 hits and 31 total bases helped lead to a .394 on-base percentage … slugged .508 for the Vikings … Drew six walks and scored 12 runs on the season … Hit first-career Grand Slam and finished with a career-high four RBI vs vs. Assumption … drove in three runs in a win over Malone … finished with six multi-hit games, including four in the last six games … started the season with a two-hit, three-RBI performance in a win over No. 15 Cameron … Made 112 putouts at first base with just one error for a .991 fielding percentage …

2019: NCAA DII National Champion … Central Region II Champion … NSIC Tournament Champion … Played in 49 with 25 Starts … played a majority of games at the DP/1B … Hit .267 with 20 hits in 75 at-bats … scored 12 runs on the season … connected on four doubles, two home runs, and 12 RBI … slugged .400 with a .368 on-base percentage … walked 11 times compared to just 8 Ks … made 191 putouts and 11 assists with 0 errors … 1.000 fielding percentage … made the game-winning out at first base in the NCAA Championships vs. Texas A&M Kingsville … Hit first career homerun vs. Concordia St. Paul … had a career-high three hits in a 3-3 performance vs. Urbana …

High School: Young racked up the accolades through her first three years at Park Cottage Grove High School. Earning all-conference and all-section honors in each of her first three seasons, adding all-state honorable mention as a freshman, along with first team all-state, Minneapolis Star Tribune All-Metro and St. Paul Pioneer Press Metro Player of the Year finalist honors as a junior.
 
Personal: Young plans on majoring in sign language at Augustana, with a minor in special education, and wants to someday work with kids in a school setting as a sign language interpreter.
