2023: NSIC Champion … Second Team All-America honors from the D2CCA and third time from the NFCA … First Team All-Region honors from NFCA and D2CAA … Academic All-America honoree … 18th toughest player to strikeout in NCAA Division II with just five strikeouts on the season … started all 54 games at first base … batted .412 with a .699 slugging percentage … reached base in 51.6 percent of her at-bats … recorded 63 hits and 55 RBI … totaled 18 doubles and eight home runs … ends career as Augustana’s all-time leader in fielding percentage with a 99.6 percentage with just six errors in her 1,480 changes.

2021: Helped Augustana earn the NSIC Championship, NCAA Central Region Championship and a No. 1 national ranking for more than half the season … NSIC Gold Glove Award Winner … started all 57 games at first base with 401 putouts, 11 assists and just one error … tallied a .282 batting average with nine home runs, 12 doubles and a triple … pushed in 33 runs … scored 27 runs of her own … hit the go-ahead home run in the Vikings 2-1 win over Minnesota State in the Central Regional on May 21 … totaled 12 multi-hit games.

2020: Earned a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence … Played in started all 19 games at first base for Augustana … Tied for second with 15 RBI … hit .322 in 59 at-bats, including two double and three home runs …19 hits and 31 total bases helped lead to a .394 on-base percentage … slugged .508 for the Vikings … Drew six walks and scored 12 runs on the season … Hit first-career Grand Slam and finished with a career-high four RBI vs vs. Assumption … drove in three runs in a win over Malone … finished with six multi-hit games, including four in the last six games … started the season with a two-hit, three-RBI performance in a win over No. 15 Cameron … Made 112 putouts at first base with just one error for a .991 fielding percentage …

High School: Young racked up the accolades through her first three years at Park Cottage Grove High School. Earning all-conference and all-section honors in each of her first three seasons, adding all-state honorable mention as a freshman, along with first team all-state, Minneapolis Star Tribune All-Metro and St. Paul Pioneer Press Metro Player of the Year finalist honors as a junior.
 
Personal: Young plans on majoring in sign language at Augustana, with a minor in special education, and wants to someday work with kids in a school setting as a sign language interpreter.
