Faith Troshynski

Faith Troshynski enters her second year as a graduate assistant coach for the Augustana University women’s basketball program. The Manson, Iowa, native joins the Vikings after graduating from Concordia University Nebraska in 2021 where she got her bachelor’s degree in exercise science, with a coaching minor.

While at Concordia University Nebraska, she was part of a program that finished 22-9 with a 17-5 GPAC record and reached the NAIA national quarterfinals in 2020-21. She was also named a 2020-21 NAIA Scholar-Athlete. Before Concordia University Nebraska, Troshynski attended Briar Cliff University for three years where she helped the Chargers to three conference tournament appearances.

Troshynski served as a Site Manager for PGC (Point Guard College) during the 2022 summer, where her duties included overseeing, evaluating, and being the main point of contact for all logistical and facility details. Troshynski also has experience working with Eagles United AAU, United Sports Academy AAU, Augustana University women’s basketball camps, and Concordia University Nebraska women’s basketball camps.

Troshynski was named to the WBCA’s 2021 “So You Want To Be A Coach” program. Presented in partnership with WeCOACH, the program assists female collegiate basketball players who are interested in pursuing a career in coaching women's basketball by providing them with professional development and career advancement through education, skills enhancement, networking and exposure opportunities. The program is conducted each year as part of the WBCA Convention. Each year's class has limited space and enrollees are selected from those nominated by their head coaches.

Troshynski resides in Sioux Falls and is pursuing her master’s degree in sports administration and leadership.
