Biography
2021-22 (Senior): Earned NSIC All-Conference First Team honors…Ranked fourth in the NSIC with a 78.63 stroke average…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence...Earned NSIC Golfer of the Week honors on September 15, 2021…Competed in all 11 events and 24 rounds of golf in 2021-22…Had a season low of 72 strokes…Earned one first place finish (Tracy Lane Memorial), three top-five finishes and five top-10 finishes.
2020-21 (Senior): Earned First-Team All-NSIC honors… Earned NSIC All-Tournament Team honors after finishing in third-place at the NSIC Championships… Competed in all seven events and 16 rounds of golf in 2021… Had a scoring average of 80.44, had three top-10 finishes, two of which were top-five finishes, and shot a season low of 74 in the second round of the Augustana Spring Invite… Finished in fourth at the Augustana Spring Invite and ninth at the Wildcat Classic.
2019-20 (Junior): Named to NSIC All-Academic Team ... Played fifteen rounds … totaled 1189 strokes throughout the season ... shot a 68 for her lowest round of golf … had a top three finish ... Remainder of the post season was cut short due to COVID-19.
2018-19 (Sophomore): Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team … earned a spot on the Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Team … played in 15 rounds … totaled 1,228 strokes … shot a 77 for her lowest round of the season … had one top-five finishes and one top-10 finishes … had an average of 81.87
2017-2018 (Freshman): Played at South Mountain Community College...during her one season, Young earned first-team Arizona Community College Athletic Conference and first-team All-Region honors.
High School: 2016 graduate of Rapid City Stevens High School...placed third in the South Dakota State AA Golf Tournament in both her junior and senior seasons...Currently is undecided on what she will study.
