Augustana University Athletics

Jordan Lindberg was named an assistant athletic trainer prior to the 2016-17 academic year. Lindberg works primarily with the soccer and wrestling programs at Augustana. He also worked with baseball in the 2017 and 2018 seasons.

Lindberg, a 2016 graduate of Augustana, spent the 2015-16 athletic year as a senior intern with the Augustana football, soccer, wrestling and baseball teams.

Between graduating from Augustana and taking his current position in the fall of 2016, Lindberg worked with J Robinson Wrestling Camps.

While at Augustana, Lindberg won numerous awards including the South Dakota Athletic Training Student of the Year in 2016. He was also a four-year member of the Augustana University CIVITAS Honors Program, President of the Augustana Athletic Training Student Association and a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association.

Lindberg earned his master’s degree through the University of South Dakota in Kinesiology and Sport Management in 2020. He currently serves on the South Dakota Athletic Trainers’ Association Honors and Awards Committee as well as the Mid-America Athletic Trainers’ Association Hall of Fame Committee.
