2023-2024: Academic All NSIC. At the NSIC Championships, Kangas took third in the 500 Free (5:03.88), seventh in the 1000 Free (10:40.07), ninth in the 1650 Free (17:56.14), and ninth in the 400 IM (4:34.23). Her 500 Free time earned her an NCAA B-Cut in the event. She also led off the NSIC winning 800 Free relay in a season best time of 1:53.83.

2022-2023: At the NSIC Championships, Kangas took second place in the 400 IM (4:28.96), fourth in the 500 Free (5:04.25), fifth in the 1000 Free (10:31.31), and 10th in the 200 Breast (2:26.16). Kangas also led off the new school record 800 Free Relay in a school record time of 1:52.19. Her times in the 200 Free, 500 Free, and 400 IM all earned NCAA B-Cuts.
