2024-2025: All Academic NSIC Team of Excellence. At the NSIC Championships, Kangas was a part of the champion winning 800 Free Relay. Kangas took 5th in the 400 IM, 8th in the 500 Free, 10th in the 1000 Free, and 10th in the 1650 Free.

2023-2024: Academic All NSIC. At the NSIC Championships, Kangas took third in the 500 Free (5:03.88), 7th in the 1000 Free (10:40.07), 9th in the 1650 Free (17:56.14), and 9th in the 400 IM (4:34.23). Her 500 Free time earned her an NCAA B-Cut in the event. She also led off the NSIC winning 800 Free relay in a season best time of 1:53.83.

2022-2023: At the NSIC Championships, Kangas took second place in the 400 IM (4:28.96), fourth in the 500 Free (5:04.25), fifth in the 1000 Free (10:31.31), and 10th in the 200 Breast (2:26.16). Kangas also led off the new school record 800 Free Relay in a school record time of 1:52.19. Her times in the 200 Free, 500 Free, and 400 IM all earned NCAA B-Cuts.
