Indoor: Did not compete during indoor season.
Outdoor: Season canceled due to COVID-19
High School: Sovereign graduated Saint Thomas Aquinas High School in May of 2019. She made the Greater Kansas City Cross Country Coaches Association First Team all four years of high school. As a freshman, she was named Newcomer of the Year. As a sophomore, junior and senior Sovereign was her high school’s most valuable performer. As a junior, she was named the Greater Kansas runner of the year and as a senior she made the all-state team.
Personal: Sovereign was born on June 7, 2001 in Lincoln, Nebraska, to parents Josh and Julie Sovereign. She has three siblings, Owen, Jillian and Genevieve, and enjoys running, reading and listening to music. She plans to major in nursing while at Augustana and aspires to be a Physicians Assistant.
