Senior (2019): Played in eight sets this season ... recorded a season-high three kills against MSU Moorhead (11/15) ... recorded a career-high 33 assists against MSU Moorhead (11/15) … earned a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

Junior (2018): Sat out the season due to injury.

Sophomore (2017): Appeared in two matches during her sophomore season .. recorded a dig at Bemidji State on Nov. 4 and against St. Cloud State on Nov. 11. … Academic All-NSIC selection … Simon helped Augustana win 23 matches, including victories over three top-10 teams and a trip to the NSIC semifinal.

Freshman (2016): Appeared in nine matches … played in a season most four sets against Michigan Tech at  the Lewis University Festival … earned her first career service ace against Michigan Tech on Sept. 3 … earned first career dig against Winona State on Sept. 10 … earned her first career assist against No. 2 Southwest Minnesota State on Sept. 15.

High School Notes: Jessica is a Two-year letter winner for Angle’s of Joliet Catholic Academy … Through her senior year to date she has 151 kills, 148 digs and 275 assists … So far this season she has helped lead Joliet Catholic Academy to a Pontiac Tournament Championship and a Oswego Tournament Championship … Named Daily Southtown Player of the Week and ESCC All-Conference Team … Currently in the Final Four of the IHSA Class 3A State Playoffs … As a junior she had 12 kills, 12 digs and 27 assists while helping her team to a 24-16 record and a second place finish in the IHSA Class 3A State Playoffs.

Personal: Born July 18, 1998 in Joliet, Illinois to Joe Simon and Diane Simon ... plans on majoring in Biology and has career goals to complete her undergraduate degree and go to graduate school so she can eventually earn a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
