Brandon Carroll enters his first season as an assistant coach in 2026-27.

Carroll rejoins Augustana following four seasons as the lead assistant on the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire coaching staff. The team hit new heights in Carroll's second year on staff in 2023-24, placing fifth at the NCAA Championships and producing the second national champion in program history, along with having a school record four All-Americans. U

Eau Claire clinched a share of its first-ever Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference team championship that season and set new single-season school record for dual victories, pins, technical falls and major decisions, along with setting a new dual scoring record.

In his first season with the Blugolds, Carroll helped UW-Eau Claire achieve its highest ever ranking in the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III poll. He helped the Blugolds produce a national runner-up, two All-Americans and two WIAC champions. 

In his collegiate career, Carroll qualified for nationals in two different weight classes, 125 pounds in 2017 and 133 pounds in 2021. He was a 2021 Scholar All-American, 2017 Regional Freshman of the Year and four-year team captain while earning a spot on the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence. 

The Sioux Falls native compiled a high school record of 134-12 and was a two-time South Dakota state champion at Roosevelt.

Carroll graduated from Augustana University with a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and finished his master's in Sports Administration and Leadership in 2022.
