Biography

2025-26: Went 19-14 overall ... recorded 33 takedowns and 35 escapes ... tallied 33 takedowns and 35 escapes ... recorded seven pins and two tech falls ... took second place at the Sioux City Open. 

2024-25: Went 4-7 on the season ... tallied nine takedowns, 14 escapes and two reversals ... recorded a pair of tech falls ... finished sixth at the MSU Moorhead Open.

High School: A four-year starter, letterwinner, and captain at Westside High School…school’s second-ever two-time state champion…went 44-4 as a junior, earning district and state championships, and leading his team to a third-place finish at state…won a district championship as a sophomore before finishing fifth at state after going 40-11. 

Personal: Son of Mishell and Steve Gundersen…has two younger siblings…studying physical therapy at Augustana…enjoys lifting, cooking, wrestling and fishing
