2022-23: Academic All-NSIC … finished 4-9 overall and 1-0 in duals … went 5-3 at the DWU Open and placed sixth … logged 6 takedowns and 3 falls

2021-22: Went 11-6 overall … logged 14 takedowns, 18 escapes, four reversals and 10 falls.

2020-21: NWCA Scholar All-American ... saw action in two matches on the season.

High School: A 2020 graduate of Red Rock Central High School ... As a senior, he started the season with a 28-3 record with 18 pins ... went 33-6 with 18 falls and placed fourth at the state tournament while winning his team's MVP award as a junior ... compiled a 21-12 with seven falls and was named most improved wrestler on his team in his sophomore season ... as a freshman, he went 7-2. 

Personal: Werner was born on Dec. 18, 2001 in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, to parents Molly and Wade Werner ... he has one older sibling, Cole, and enjoys hunting, sports and video games ... majoring in engineering.
