2023-24: Academic All-NSIC…finished 7-6 overall and 2-2 in duals…went 3-2 at DWU Open…logged 15 takedowns, seven escapes, four technical falls and two major decisions

2022-23: Finished 9-14 overall and 5-10 in duals …  went 4-2 at the DWU Open … logged 31 takedowns, one major decision, three technical falls, and two falls

2021-22: Held an overall record of 11-9 ... logged 13 takedowns, 12 escapes and six four-point nearfalls ... totaled two falls, three technical falls, and one major decision.

High School: A 2021 graduate of Windom Area High School ... went 50-4 and placed third at state, and was also named First Team All-State as a junior ... As a sophomore, he logged a 31-6 record and as a freshman, he went 29-9 ... earned All-Conference honors during his freshman and sophomore seasons. 

Personal: Sammons was born in Windom, Minnesota, to parents Nicole and Josh Sammons ... has three siblings and enjoys hanging out with his friends and family and going to the lake ... majoring in exercise science.
