Biography

2021-22 (Senior): Went 8-8 overall and 2-3 in dual action…Logged 16 takedowns, nine escapes, one reversal, three two-point nearfalls, two four-point nearfalls and two falls…Placed second at the NCAA Super Region V tournament…Became a national qualifier at 141 pounds…Named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence.

2020-21 (Senior): Did not compete in 2020-21.

2019-20 (Junior): Went 7-9 overall at 149 pounds with four falls… Logged 13 takedowns, one reversal, 12 escapes, three two-point nearfalls, one four-point nearfall and one riding time point.

2018-19 (Sophomore): Went 6-10 at 141 pounds… Had two falls, one tech fall, and one major decision… Went 2-3 and earned a sixth place finish at the Super Region V Tournament on Feb. 23.

2017-18 (Freshman): Was one of two true freshmen starters for the Vikings, going 20-8 at 141 pounds ... had a dual record of 5-2 ... took sixth at the Super Region 3 Championships, going 2-3 ... took first at the Yellowjacket Open (Nov. 4) and the Warrior-Viking Open (Dec. 30) ... finished in second at the BVU Open (Dec. 2) ... recorded three falls, two tech falls, four major decisions and had 51 takedowns.

High School: 2017 graduate of Kasson-Mantorville in Kasson, Minn. ... two-time state champion as a senior and a sophomore … helped his team to three team state championships … placed third in state as a freshman and fifth as a junior … twice named to the state All-Tournament team.

Personal: Son of Scott and Brenda Schorr … born on Oct. 6, 1998 in Minneapolis, Minn. … plans to major in Business ... sister, Kaylea, plays softball at Augustana.
