Biography

High School: Herbst is a four-year starter and two-year captain for the Eagles. As a junior, he earned All-Conference and Section Champion honors while placing fourth at state with a 41-9 record. He was also apart of a team section championship. Herbst was also a Section Champion as a sophomore while his team took third at the state tournament. 
 
Personal: Payton is the son of Luke and Breanna Herbst. He plans to major in business management.Â
