Augustana University Athletics

High School: Orel is a four-year starter and senior captain for the Warriors. As a junior, Orel went 46-7 with 91 takedowns on his way to a third-place finish at the state tournament. The team also had success, earning runner-up finishes at state duals and as a team at the state tournament. He won 45 matches as a sophomore and placed third at state while the team finished fifth in duals and fourth at state. He also earned state qualification as a freshman after going 42-23. 
 
Personal: Ryken is the son of Jason and Sissy Orel. He plans to major in civil engineering at Augustana.
