Claire Meyer joined the Athletic Training staff in 2023 as an assistant athletic trainer. She primarily works with hockey, cross country, and outdoor track and field.
Originally from Georgia, Meyer spent the majority of her life in Houghton, Michigan where she would go on to graduate from Lake Superior State University with a bachelor's in kinesiology with a concentration in rehabilitation science.
Upon graduation, she pursued her master of science in athletic training at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. After obtaining her master's, she returned to her alma mater as an assistant athletic trainer, overseeing the Lakers men’s hockey, men’s and women’s tennis, and men’s and women’s golf teams.
Meyer has experience in multiple NCAA Regional and National tournaments for men's and women's hockey, and spent time with Army West Point Football and with Penn State Men’s hockey.
