Diego Oquendo was named NSIC Indoor Track Athlete of the Week after his standout performance at the the Nebraska Tune Up in Lincoln, Neb.

The junior from Staten Island, N.Y broke an Augustana school record in the 60-meter hurdles, running the race in 8.18 seconds. The previous record, 8.25, was set by Augustana track legend Vance Butler in 1979. The mark is also a Division II provisional qualifying standard.

Oquendo also finished 11th in the 60-meter dash with a time of 6.98 seconds.
