#3 Shaunteva Ashley (G, 5-8, So., Sioux Falls, S.D./Roosevelt H.S.) poured in a career-high 23 points on her way to a two-game total of 38 as Augustana rolled in two victories over the weekend. In the Vikings' 92-44 victory over Bemidji State on Friday, Ashley was a perfect 5-5 from behind the arc to lead the Vikings in a record-breaking performance in three point shooting. The Vikings took down a six-year old record by connecting on 63.6 percent of their three-point attempts (14-22). The sophomore guard finished 8-10 from the field and 2-2 from the line to arrive at her career-high 23 points. Ashley also finished with four assists and just one turnover. The following evening, Ashley shook off a slow start to finish with 15 points, four assists and a steal. The Sioux Falls native entered the second half with just two points, but exploded in the second stanza with 13 points on 5-7 shooting and knocked down a three-pointer as the Vikings scored 52 points in the second half of their defeat of Minnesota, Crookston.
