Kayla Mescher (Mid-Distance, So., Brighton, Colo./ Brighton HS) won the 800-meter dash at the USD invite by over three seconds as well as registering the 19th-fastest time among Division II women Mescher finished the 800-meter run in 2:15.14 to earn her a victory and NCAA Championships provisionally qualifying time. Mescher posted a NCAA Championship-caliber mark int he 400-meter dash this season and is on the Augustana women's distance medley relay team which ranks ninth in Division II.
