Cameron McCaffrey (G, 6-1, 170, Sr., Portland, Ore./Century HS) has averaged 28 points per game in the first two rounds of the NSIC Men’s Basketball tournament. In the first round game against Minnesota Duluth, McCaffrey scored 30 points, in the process becoming Augustana’s all-time leading scorer. He also added eight assists and a career-high six rebounds in the win over the Bulldogs. In the quarterfinal game at Northern State on Saturday, McCaffrey led the Vikings with 26 points, going a career-high 14 of 14 from the free throw line. McCaffrey scored 22 of his 26 points in the second half while adding seven assists and three rebounds.
