#32 Michael Willman, Jr. (RHP, 6-1, 204, So., R/R, Plymouth, Minn./Armstrong HS) threw the seventh no-hitter in Augustana history on Sunday in a 7-1 win over Morningside College. Willman finished the game with a career-high 11 strikeouts while allowing just one unearned run. The sophomore struck out two batters in five of the seven innings holding the Mustangs’ bats silent. Augustana’s last no-hitter was on March 17, 2006, when six Viking pitchers combined to hold Minnesota Crookston hitless. Willman’s no-no is the first by a single pitcher since Ross Hawley tossed one on March 12, 2000, against Minnesota Crookston.
