Kristin Brondbo (Distance, Sr., Steinkjer, Norway) posted an automatic qualifying time of 9:32.31 in the women's 3,000-meter run to break former teammate Runa Falch's school record by over five seconds. Brondbo, coming off her fourth straight All-American cross country performance, won the women's 3k by over 20 seconds and set a new collegiate South Dakota record. Brondbo is currently the top place holder in Division II for the 3,000-meter run and one of three automatic qualifiers in any event at the Division II level.
